I had my first asthma attack 28 years ago when I was 12, running up a huge hill to go tobaganning. This past 2 weeks have been awful. Taking my albuterol like junk food. It was just taking the edge off. When I found your article, I hadn't had a normal rattle-free breath for almost 2 weeks. For the past several months my asthma has steadlily become worse.
